Born in 1959, Paul Sutherland has spent a decade making pictures underwater for clients like National Geographic Traveler, Smithsonian, Newsweek, and Scientific American. This is his third trip to Raine Island with the documentary production team.

Sutherland's editorial and stock photography projects have taken him on assignment around world from the cold rich waters of Argentina's Peninsula Valdez and Australia's Southern Ocean to the warm tropical waters of Malaysia and Indonesia.
