In the week leading up to the Kentucky Derby, aspiring photojournalists from all over the country took part in the Churchill Downs Collegiate Sports Seminar. This workshop gives participants a chance to do hands-on work with some of the world's foremost sports photographers like Rick Rickman, Joe McNally and Dave Black.

Throughout the workshop to the end of the nail-biting Derby itself, Nikon was there, and posted images LIVE from this exciting event. Working with the latest Nikon technology, students and instructors posted daily dispatches sharing their techniques for making action shots, portraits and candids worthy of any of the world's leading sports magazines.
